I created styles-4-you.com to be a kind, practical space. These guidelines explain how I host conversations so everyone feels welcome, heard, and safe.
My promise to you
I read comments, moderate with care, and set clear expectations. I keep threads friendly, on topic, and useful. I remove content that hurts the community or distracts from the purpose of this site.
Be kind and respectful
Speak to people the way you want to be spoken to. Disagree with ideas, not people. No name calling, insults, or sarcasm meant to belittle. Assume good intent and ask questions before judging.
Stay on topic
Keep comments relevant to the post. Share your experience, ask a question, or add a tip readers can use. Off topic debates and personal rants may be removed to keep the thread helpful.
Use inclusive language
Style belongs to everyone. Avoid stereotypes and generalizations about bodies, sizes, ages, skin tones, hair textures, abilities, identities, or budgets. If you are unsure, choose the most respectful phrasing.
No harassment or hate
I do not allow harassment, hate speech, threats, or discriminatory remarks. That includes content targeting race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or appearance.
Keep it safe and responsible
Do not encourage dangerous behavior or self harm. If you share a routine or product, be clear that it is your personal experience. I do not allow medical, dermatological, or legal advice in comments.
Be honest and transparent
If you have a connection to a brand or a product mentioned, say so. Do not post misleading claims, fake reviews, or copy from marketing materials as if it were your own experience.
No spam or excessive promotion
Promotional comments, referral codes, and repeated links are not allowed. If you are a creator or small brand and want to collaborate, email partnerships@styles-4-you.com instead of promoting in comments.
Links and media in comments
To protect readers, I limit external links and may remove any link that looks unsafe, irrelevant, or promotional. Do not post copyrighted images you do not own. If you want me to review a resource, email editor@styles-4-you.com.
Respect intellectual property
Share only content you created or have permission to share. If you quote or reference someone, credit them in plain text. Do not post full articles, private images, or paid materials.
Protect personal information
Do not post phone numbers, addresses, private emails, order details, or any sensitive personal data. If you need help with a purchase, contact the retailer directly and share only what is safe.
How moderation works
I review comments for tone, relevance, and safety. I may edit minor formatting for clarity. I remove content that violates these guidelines. Repeat or severe violations can lead to blocking to protect the community.
If you see a problem
Flag the issue by emailing hello@styles-4-you.com with a link to the page and a short note. I will review and take appropriate action.
Feedback and corrections
If you notice an error in a post, email corrections@styles-4-you.com. I appreciate your help and will update content when needed with a timestamped note.
Your rights and mine
By commenting, you grant me a nonexclusive, royalty free license to display your comment on this site. I retain the right to moderate or remove content for any reason that supports a healthy community.
Changes to these guidelines
I may update these guidelines as the site grows. Material changes will be noted with a revised effective date at the top of this page.
